|-|Lullabies cannot save you from nightmares|-|
The dreary place that only spoke of death and rotting corpses from previous years were far more stronger than the ash filled air that now filled their lungs. The soft fog coating the graveyard with a light blanket as it shielded others from clear vision. The sun had yet to make it's descent but it was dark in this horrid place nonetheless. The lost souls speaking to his as he wandered past every name that was their own. A meeting had not been called 'pon the pack but the beast was still here. Red, muscular carcass barely visible against the fog as he wandered aimlessly. The stud holding an intoxicating attraction that would be better left ignored if not wishing to lose your heart and soul. The beast having a tendency to miss lead with alluring compliments and sweet lies.
Auds were pivot 'pon his proud skull as he remained as alert as ever. Not trusting a single soul that made up this pack...except for his alpha that is. He did have doubts of his power and position yet did not rebel against him. Loyalty holding him in place as he knew they were the only ones left of a dying breed. Every true dark heart out there being a fraud as they were only wounded pups looking for love. 'Disgusting creatures...' Auds had lowered to his skull completely before rising once more as the thought disappeared. Not liking those lovesick fools who said they were dark hearted only to turn their back when they found 'love'. The single word being cast out from his vocabulary as he knew no such thing as 'love'.
Docked tail showed no signs of joy or anger as it had only so little to show. The stoic mask placed tightly around the beast's face keeping any unwanted feeling or emotion to be kept away from him at all times. Cold facade causing many to turn away as they knew he was far too gone to break. Only a raging fire being able to melt the ice away, a fire that had died long ago along with her name. A name that would remain unspoken 'till the day he died. The name that would be the death of any that tried to find it without his knowing. The name of a dame who had taken his heart and soul along with her to the grave. Rich, mahogany optics glared out at the world with an immense hatred that spoke of so many things one should never know.
Hating every living soul on this earth as they continued to live a life that was a joke. The beast mentally shook his head as he forced the thoughts away before they could infest in his mind once more. A dark gaze was cast 'pon the graveyard surroundings as he wandered round. Not having a specific point in being here besides the fact there was nothing else to do. The other vixens in his pack not sounding like much fun at the moment. Most of them being quite arrogant and thinking themselves better than one another. 'Pathetic wenches...' Nimble paws almost floated above the ground at the fluid movement he had set himself. Elegance dripping from his very form at his upright posture and gait.
Every muscle within his body rippled against his slick red pelt as he strode through. The surroundings singing a song of sorrow that only he could hear for now. Paws led him to a large structure that showed the form of what humans would call angels. The beast sneered but nonetheless made a resting spot by it's feet. Muscular carcass laying 'pon the cold concrete, while dial rested 'pon his forepaws. The mighty beast seemed relaxed as he was not in a frozen state nor snarling up a storm that would make any shake in fear. There he lay, almost appearing as angelic as the statue as he laid there peacefully with eyes shut. The only time the spawn of Satan would be at rest.

~*Sorry's Just a Word*~
Darkness filled the tainted land where a lone soul walked. There were no dry leaves here, even though the trees around here were dry as the desert sands and completly bare. Even more evidence of what had once been. The trees, completly gray, ash-covered, or just a pile of charred ashes, all gave quite a look to the already eerie atmosphere. A few ravens sat perched in a tree, opening their black beaks and cawing out haunting music. Their claws looked like they had had blood on them not so long ago.
Yet the dark figure kept walking along at a brisk pace. The area around her seemed no different then every part of the south's territory. Forgotten, bare, and fallen. It was no surpise to the femme, she had seen it all too many times. She just kept her pace, legs moving swiftly and silently, keeping herself quite as a mouse. Even the littlest squeak could send off whatever could be lurking, and south pack dogs, even to their own pack, were wildly unpredictable, always itching for a fight. Not to say that the female was an exception, she just simply didn't want a fight at the second. An oddity.
She approached the old, crooked gates to the cementary. They were made of iron, and therefore were great targets for the fire. Most of the gates leaned over to one side, or were simply burned through, but the entrance gates seemed just as good as new, besides the left door which hung somewhat croooked. It made the perfect hole for the femme to squeeze through. Before she wedged herself in, she saw words above the gate, as a sign. She couldn't read human, but she knew what they were.
Once inside the graveyard's not-so-welcoming gates, Kenzie found it nessecary to make herself at home. There didn't seem to be any other dogs around, and the next meeting wasn't for many suns. The brownish-red tricolor sprawled out near a headstone. It wasn't in very good shape, but it gave her a false sense of sercurity. She was just about to fall asleep, when she smelled something odd, and it wasn't the scent of the rotting human bodies many feet below the ground.
Kenzie sat up straight, and started to sniff the air above her curiously. Her ears pinned themselves to the sides of ther head, and she half-closed her eyes to have herself concetrate better. It was some other dog, a male by the smell of it, and not too far away. Kenzie knew where her trust lied, and with her nose was one of the places. She closed her eyes completly, not trusting them at all, and put her heart into her nose, taking deep wiffs. By doing so, she found the brute's general direction. She stood up tall and puffed herself out, wanting to make herself look slightly dangerous. She really didn't want trouble at the moment, but it was always nice to see who you're dealing with before they know who you are.
Kenzie trotted briskly, keeping her nose to the air and feet on the ground. With every step, the scent seemed to grow stronger, until she felt completly on top of the situation. She opened her eyes, and was relived to find that, whoever she was tracking, she was behind him. He seemed quite intimanating, even from behind and with her veiw blocked by some statue the humans had put up. Kenzie thought about it for a moment, then slowly creeped along to the side of the centerpeice, not making a sound, and with tension rising in her throat.
As she got a better look at him, she relized that she owed this creature at least a little respect. He lay down beneath the statue of the human with wings, almost like a statue himself. As if he was a small demon, protecting everything in his domain. He was certaintly regal looking, but rather bland. Like some emotionless brute.
Nevertheless, the Austrailain Shepered kept her distance, but did not run away. She didn't even get out of sight. She wanted to meet this brute in person, however boring he seemed. She waited quitely, resisting all temptation to nip at his ear and wake him up sharply. [/color]
