Forever we are, forever we'll be...
It was dark, the moon was shining down upon the garden. Casting an eeire, silver glow on just about everything. The moon, beings it was after midnight, was at it's peak and it shone proudly in the sky. Giving off that odd white light. Although, it made everything seem so...beautiful. In the daytime it was just a bunch of dead, brown and black plants. And at night, the gardens were a totally new place, it was like it was reborn under a new light. Just because it was dark and your couldn't see the descruction that surrounded this place. For once it seemed, there was a peace...
But that peace seemed to be shattered when a lone figure came wandering through the gardens. It was like a giant shadow, moving slowly through the empty space, just meandering along. It could be seen though that the figure was limping and in a great deal of pain. For they stumbled every so often and stirred up the ash that clung to the once-alive flowers. It could also be seen, that as the figure drifted into the moonlight, that it was a canine. He had a dark, mottled coat of gray, silver, and black. And was fairly large, beings he was of Shepherd blood. His body was thick and muscular, and his muscles rippled under his coat. A handsome little devil he was...
The brute stopped and settled himself down, not really caring he was out in the open for all to see. He needed to stop, to rest and get off his leg. For his old injury was acting up...yet again. He whinced with pain with every step. He hated that fact that it slowed him down and let him with not only bad pains, but bad memories. Things he wanted to be gone from his mind, but it haunted him. A real living nightmare. The past was supposed to be just that, the past. But no, his haunted him each and everytime he closed his eyes. He could just see the man bringing the club down upon his mother's head, her skull being bashed in, her yelp as she fell onto the ground. Never to move again. He saw the breeder whipping him till he mounted the scared femme who stood before him. Afterwards chaining him to the wall with no food or water...
A shudder passed through the darkened brute, and he collapsed onto the ground. Fatigue taking over his body as his eyes closing, as if there were lead blocks attatched to them. And with that, his tired form fell into a fitfull, nightmare-filled sleep.
Forever we'll be crucified to a dream...

ooc: I shall join...^^ Wonder why Sain's wandering through the garden anyways
bic:
A slender, yet rather large and well kept form traveled along the lands. The figure's step was slow and laboured, though the figure itself wasn't injured, or burdened in any sense. Of course though, in a mental sense, she was permanently burdened....her past had revealed to her that she was nothing but an animal...something that didn't deserve to be treated with any form of care...something that wouldn't mind being kicked around, and most of all, something that would be classified as a reject, an outcast for the rest of their life.
These were her beliefs, and nothing could cure her of it. -----
Her paws followed a set rhythme...the simple left foot forwards, then the right...and so forth. She didn't walk like the other females in these lands, those who wanted nothing more but to flatter and find trouble for themselves. No, she stayed as simple as possible...And plus, most of the beauty she used to own was taken away from her by a certain fight she had a while back. The bottem of her throat was bare and clear of any fur..due to shred flesh...and her right ear hug weakly, rather than standing in the regal fashion a normal German Shepherd's was suppose to. Her worse cursing now was the fact that her coat was a dirty black...and hardly cared for.
She sighed, and walked on, her head hung low, like it usually was, and her eyes wavering from the softly lit ground to the skies above her every so often.
Her walk was stopped after a while though, and she finally lift her head, seeing a figure before her...not far away. Lovely...she hadn't scented him while she was walking...maybe it was because she was bound in other thoughts. But she wasn't pleased that she hadn't stayed alert...now she had company...something she detested a while back.
She sighed, and sat herself down. There was no point in running off now, if this being wanted, they could probably track her down. A "normal" canine usually found that chore easy. But she lowered her head, and observed on farther...This one seemed...injured. Severely at that.
Her first thought was actually walk over and see if the fellow hadn't died already...and maybe she could be on her way then. But that was a foolish idea...he still had life in him, and from her past, an injured canine was worse than one that wasn't...they just seemed more aggressive than usual.
So, instead, she lowered herself into a reclined postion, and laid her inked head on her out stretched forepaws. She emitted a sigh...it was strange, why was she staying here anyways? Why did she care? But for some strange reason, she didn't want to move.
She moved her eyes to the sky now. Strange...this garden had a weird sence of peace in it. And she seemed to enjoy every bit of it.
ooc: Erm...my muse died ><

These thoughts will carry me....
The dreams haunted his mind, like always, but this time seeming more and more real. Each and every night he saw the vivid images of her mother being clubbed to death, or his owner bringing the bat down onto his leg, crushing the bone and leaving him lying there in pain for weeks. This night he saw the man coming towards him, his breath thick with the sour stench of whiskey...like always. He was making his rounds, checking on all the dogs, well more like beating them if they weren't doing what he wanted. It was always about him and there was nothing any of the poor mutts could do about it. His eyes bore down onto Jukka, searing his flesh. Making the brute quiver with terror, making him wonder what would the human do next? It was so unpredictable...one never knew. A wicked smile came across the human's face, and out of his pocket he pulled out a syringe, with a rather nasty-looking needle attatched to the end of it. And with a lunge forward, the needle was driven into Jukka's thigh, leaving him feeling in a haze as he fell to the ground, and the world went dark...
--------
A gasp tore from his throat and the dark-amber eyes shot open. He breath was ragged as he looked around throughout the darkness, making sure there were no humans like in his dream with terrible needles that made him sleep forever. Finding that he was safe...for now. He settled himself into a sitting position, his leg was feeling better now that he'd gotten off of it for awhile. But how long that was he didn't know...he had no way of telling how long he could've been sleeping. It could've been hours, or just a mere minutes. And despite the awful nightmare that still floated in his head, he felt oddly refreshed.
But then, something caught his attention. In his moment of utter terror from his dreams, he hadn't noticed that he wasn't alone. The thick scent of another canine flowed into his nostrils, and a female one at that. But he had no real interest, usually females were the type to just sit around and chat with him for ungodly long hours and tell him how bad their lives sucked, and then now it was good. Then they expected him to tell his story, and that wasn't going to happen...not in a million years. It was Jukka's past and his only, it wasn't to be shared with others. And he was definetly not the type who wanted to sit and listen to other canines' pasts either. He just hated how some canines went around wearing their hearts on their...erm, paws and expected everyone to feel sorry for them. They might as well walk around with a sign that said 'Avoid me!' ...Well, that's just how Jukka felt about them. And he didn't really have the best of feelings towards most canines...
Anways, where were we? Oh yes, he had spotted the female and was watching her through his dark eyes. She just lay there not too far off from him. Was she just pondering? Was she debating on whether or not to come over there? Was she waiting for him to come over there? Psh, because that sure as hell wasn't going to happen. With his leg bothering him as much as it did, he didn't want to walk ever again...
...Through The darkest nights.

ooc: Sorry this took forever...I've been caught up in numerous things D: And it suck xD My muse died too...
bic:
Over the course of her simply lying there, she had turned her gaze to the sky. Such a peaceful thing, even in these lands...dark and mystifying, yet peaceful. The moon's feeble glare was enough to even give the filthy lands below some sense of beauty...though the ashes and burnt remanents really weren't worthy to be called "beautiful".
She gave a short felt sigh, and blinked slowly. Maybe that fellow was dead...and she was only wasting her time here. Hmm. Then again, time was being wasted her simply by waiting here anyways. Still, she didn't make attempts to get up, she simply stayed in her given area...focusing on mainly just breathing. What else was there to do anyways? ---
The sudden reaction of the other caused her head to lift up slowly. So the fellow was alive. Wonderful. But she stayed in her spot none the less. She lived by her law of never approaching an injured canine, they'd do more pain then they were in already. So she simply spoke up a bit later, her voice had a heavy German accent in it.
"You need some help there?"
Strange she'd ask something like that...it wasn't really her nature to. But she did none the less, almost as if she really didn't have anything better to say.
