The sun could be seen high in the sky through the thin layer of smoke left over from the fire that covered the city. It shone on the glass and if you looked at it in just the right way you it would shine as brilliantly as the sun itself.
A male was walking to wards the area of which shattered glass lay upon the ground. Behind him trailed a small pup. The brutes eyes glimmered maliciously. With each step he seemed to move faster, wanting badly to reach his goal. This was one thing he would take pleasure in showing the pup known as Tee.
Just a few feet away the males pale blue eyes looked at the glass in just the right way for it to burn his eyes. He blinked and shook his head, what should be a hurt expression was instead a smile. He took another step and opened his eyes. The stinging was gone along with the shining bright light.
Before him stretched the sea of glass. It all lay in a heap with a few scattered peices off to the side. Some large rocks poked out of the middle, you could jump on them and cross the whole see if you made sure to jump on the ones that didn't have glass on them. They weren't actually rocks though. They were hardened remains of the old building that used to stand tall and shining. A great site it was. He remembered seeing it once out of the apartment window that he used to live in. He remembered how beautiful he thought it was. He remembered how he thought it was out of place though, and didn't match its surroundings.
The male shook the thought from his mind. The glass matched its surroundings now. It fit together with the rest of the city, ruined remaints.
A crooked smile of pleasure lay across the males face as he turned to look at the pup. He wanted to see what her reaction was to the place.
