It had been a while since she'd spoke to others. The last time she'd spoke to another was to Rex about three months ago. But Rex was nothing to her... Not anymore. He'd had her and he'd abused her... Now he'd lost her. She was a purebred alsation with a wild temper and a desire to kill. It wasn't her fault... She'd been bred to be like that. That's all they wanted, the military, murderous dogs they could control. That was the part she'd failed on... They couldn't control her. Nobody could control her. She had a desire to rule and rulers weren't controlled. Of course, she would settle for a low rank... To begin with. No dog in their right mind would give agood rank out just like that. As soon as she had entered the lands and seen the alphas she'd known here was the right place for her.
She came in at 24" to her shoulder which was the tallest any female of her breed could grow and she owned huge, well-toned muscles from her time in the military. They'd trained her to kill and kill was what she did best. Killing was how she and Rex had escaped to begin with. She'd killed her handler and then turned on his. They try to control her and her friends and they would be dead. She wouldn't call Rex a friend now... She didn't call anyone a friend. No one deserved that title. Not her siblings or her old workmates. No one.
She was at the borders of the South packlands. Her dark hazel optics were blank, unreadable as she stood there. Her position lower than usual, but not too low. She howled for a mere second to let the others know she was there then she lowered her haunches and waited. Her mainly black pelt was clean and the tan stood out well against it. She looked good, now she'd just have to prove she was good. That wouldn't be hard though.

o o c ; 'Kay =) A dark figure soon appeared over a hill, a little ways away. It slinked around a tree, and then stood at the top of the hill. It seemed to loom over the whole valley below. He lifted his head, and peered down at the other figure down below. Dark orbs scanned the figure. His auds were perked up high. It was another dog, larger then himself. This must have been where that call came from... He thought to himself, still wondering about this strange dog. He let out a low bark, and then began to make his way down the slope. His claws gripped the soot and dirt that covered the burnt ground. He trotted the rest of the way, and then approached this stranger.
"Who are you? Why do you come here?" He said gruffly. He slowly circled around the stranger, his tail hainging low, and his eyes filled with suspicion and a bit of wonder. Not many other dogs wanted to join the South Pack, since the South Pack was a mean, and harsh pack. This stranger might not even survive in such a pack. Since he was the Beta, Chase would have to come and check out this new dog. But if this dog only wanted to fight, then he was ready to attack. He studied this dog, and figured out that she was a female, and a large one at that. Bigger then him. Whatever she wanted, he was ready.

ooc: 'kay, like, Sal was busy xD And I'mma go with Night Time, alright? -bounces-
bic:
These lands were usually barren...sure, there was the South Pack, consisting of some of the most daring dogs around...a cruel, murderous pack...but the members weren't in much contact with each other...were they? So obviously, when he heard the howl of another...he was sure to check it out...these land were his, weren't they?
Of course though, it wasn't like he wanted to travel right now, Chase was the Alpha, but quite solitude at that. He appealed more so to being alone than anything else, and his massive frame plus his ever changing attitude seemed to help him with that. None the less, when another called, he simply had to find out what was going on...even if it did mean sacrificing a bit of sleep.
His motions were smooth and fluid-like. His muscled frame rippled through his thick coat with every step he took. Though he made no efforts to be "majestic", his walk was still graceful...a habit he hadn't lost since he was with his humans. His head lowered slightly at the thought of his humans...but he shook it off a while later, he had work to do.
Just like the Beta of the South Pack had arrived at, he too loomed over on the same hill. But, instead of making his way down, he simply sat down on massive, two-toned hanuches, curled his tail around his legs, and looked down. Intresting, another female. He liked females daring enough to enter into his lands...they were stronger than the other pack's females...of course though, this was his opinion...and a generalized opinion as well.
He attention was more so on the Beta, and he simply smirked. After Zephyr had spoken, he waited for a while, and then spoke up loudly...a deeper English accent in his voice than before.
"Now, my friend, is that some way to greet a new comer? Give her some space, will you?"
He waited for a while longer, before finally bounding forwards. His strides were rather large, and strong...and he was at the side of the Beta and the Newcomer within a few seconds. He now turned his focus to the Newcomer, taking a few second to observe her. He spoke up again, this time focusing on the female. At a closer glance, it seemed his eyes had narrowed slightly, his voice had a slight his in it as well...
"State your business, m'dear. What brings you here?"

The Australian Shepard mix turned to look at Chase, who had burst onto the scene. He was a bit startled, and then the Alpha spoke. He narrowed his eyes with a bit of a humorous look, and then let out a huff. "In a good mood today, are we, Chase?" he laughed, looking at the Alpha.
This was unusual, but sometimes happened. The South Pack dogs were known for being harsh and mean. And Chase was no exception. Then he wiped the look off of his mug. His chocolate orbs then shifted over to the stranger. The Beta's tail was held high. Auds perked, listening to the conversation. His strong and sturdy limbs held him comfortably on the rocky ground below him. He nodded his head as he listened to what the Alpha said, looking back and forth between the two dogs. Both of them looked strong, and confident. He waited to see what this new dog had to say for herself. This might be interesting... He thought to himself.

It was night... She liked the night. Darkness gave her a chill of cold fury. Cold fury was good to... According to her it was. But she was in no state for games, she was pregnant and it was terribly obvious by her slightly rounded stomach. This put her in a bad mood, it had a negative affect on all faes but she was even worse than the usual... She was a killer when she wasn't pregnant.
She saw the first figure and stared hard at is at it came down the slope. Her opticals of dark hazel glinted with a pure passion of blood and hatred but she spoke not. This was a packs lands... This was a pack she wanted to get into. "Who are you? Why do you come here?" He started to circle her and her eyes narrowed to but slits in her skull. It was making her feel crowded and she liked her space.
Her maw dropped open and harsh tones were about to slip from her maw when she heard another voice. It was yet another male. "Now, my friend, is that some way to greet a new comer? Give her some space, will you?" she blinked... This brute knew manners at least. Being evil didn't mean you couldn't use manners. The new brute sprinted down the hill powerfully and she could now see that he bigger than the other brute... Then again, that wasn't hard.
"In a good mood today, are we, Chase?" the brute who was obviously less dominant asked. Well never... A dark dog wouldn't usually sprint to see a newcomer. she thought darkly to herself and once again her orbits narrowed to splits. She'd had enough of dogs that think they can speak to a dominant dog like that in her life. They wound her up and often she ended up fighting them... But not today, she couldn't risk her pups lives.
"State your business, m'dear. What brings you here?" the alpha spoke up again. She looked towards him with those emotionless orbs of dark hazel. I'm Gypsy... Call me 'G' though. I come here to join your pack... If your ready to accept a murderer that is m'lord. she said with respect and bowed her head. I would prove myself to you but it could bring harm to the young devils within me. she told him.

Chase had, again, sat down on his giant haunches, tail elongated to its full potential across the ground rather than being curled around his legs. His ears remained perked, and he didn't hold that usual bored look of his, no, he was actually looked rather alert, observing every bit of her carefully. By her form, she was currently expecting. And yet quite daring. "A murderer?" he thought to himself, eyes still observing, "And yet, she's wise enough not to prove it..."
However, before first answering to the female, he turned to the Beta, answering to his remark. "Yes my friend, I'm quite happy today. There's no sin in that, right? And plus, Life is more than just slitting throats, you agree, no?"
He gave a soft, playful grunt after his answer before turning his gaze back on the newcomer. He asked a rather peculiar question, this time, eyes narrowed.
"So it's only you? Is there anyone else with you? Say...a mate?"
He asked the question through a mere assumption, nothing more.

Her auds twitched slightly as she stared at that hill again, she wanted to cross it's ridge like those two had just done but knew she must first gain acceptance. She seemed distracted but she wasn't, she was listening to everything the alpha had to say. "So it's only you? Is there anyone else with you? Say...a mate?"
She looked at him as if he was joking. We... Split up due to differences of opinion... Lets say I don't think I'll ever see him again. she told him. Her gaze once again turned to that hill as though she could not believe what she had heard. She wandered what waited over it's peak and whether there would be a suitable place to birth anywhere in the lands.

The Australian Shepard mix looked over to the Alpha, his brown orbs flickered in the moonlight. "Yes my friend, I'm quite happy today. There's no sin in that, right? And plus, Life is more than just slitting throats, you agree, no?" The Alpha had said. Zephyr slowly nodded his head, then blinked his brown orbs. He lifted his head, and replied, "Of course. I see what you mean. Its a nice night out, and maybe I should just... lighten up a bit. Of course... I still have suspicions about newcomers."
Then he turned to Gypsy, and nodded his head. He, too, sat on his haunches, and listened to what the stranger had to say. As she spoke, he did notice her slightly swollen stomach. And he understood what she said. She was going to have her pups soon, and wouldn't dare let any force them. These pups were precious to her, and she would sacrifice anything for them, as would any mother for their young. As the newcomer finished speaking, he then turned his head to Chase, to see what he had to say.

ooc: Sorry xD My parents were being nice to me...because of my birthday. Its kinda weird o:
bic:
Chase's ears twitched slightly at the Beta's voice. His mood seemed to be changing again, but he had to control it...setting good impressions on newcomers kept the amount of respect he recieved high. Though his mood swings weren't helping in that goal. It was his mood swings, after all, that had caused his humans to abandon him. And usually, when he had mood swings these days, he liked nothing more than to isolate himself. Strange how well he did...such a giant beast unseen in his own lands for a few days... ---
He glanced over at the Beta, his eyes narrowed, and his lips shut tight, as if to warn him not to speak anymore...and then he turned over to the stranger, the same narrowed eyes upon his features.
"I see. I suppose you can't cause much trouble yet then, can you?"
His remark was hissed. Nothing more could really describe it. An then, he continued on, a devilish smirk played upon his maw.
"As for your request, I accept. Murderers are at home here. I just hope your pups will be safe in these lands. Really."

Zephyr still sat on his haunches, looking over at the Alpha dog. Then, Chase turned and gave him a look. A look that he knew as plain and bluntly, "Shut your yap." Zehpyr heeded the Alpha's warning well, as his auds flattened tightly against his skull. He looked down for a breif moment, then turned his head back up. His ears perked up again. The Beta's dark brown orbs flashed back over to the Alpha. "Ahh... Good 'ol Chase." He thought to himself with a laugh.
A slight smile spread across his muzzle, but then quickly he wiped it of. He watched and listened as Chase spoke to this newcomer. "I see. I suppose you can't cause much trouble yet then, can you?" The Alpha spoke in a hissed tone.
Chase was right, though, since she had unborn ones in her. She wouldn't try to attack or fight which could potentially injure them. If Chase had excepted her, then there was a reason. The Alpha would know if she could be dangerous to the pack. After the Alpha finished speaking, he looked back over at the new member of the South Pack. A new murderer. Hopefully her young could survive on this harsh land.
